Summer is officially here, and we're excited to announce our 2026 Summer Activities lineup at Heidi's Campground! Whether you're a longtime seasonal camper or visiting for the first time, we've planned a variety of activities designed to bring families, friends, and neighbours together for a season filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
From community favorites like Bingo Saturdays and Golf Cart Parades to exciting special events featuring exotic animals, fireworks, and a campground carnival, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

June
June 6 – Easter Hunt
Who says Easter fun is only for spring? Join us for a campground-wide Easter Hunt that promises treats, surprises, and plenty of smiles for kids of all ages.
June 27 – Hot Dogs & Cake, Golf Cart Parade, and Fireworks
One of our biggest weekends of the summer! Enjoy complimentary hot dogs and cake, decorate your golf cart for our annual parade, and end the evening with a spectacular fireworks display.
July
July 4 & 5 – Food Truck Weekend
Celebrate the holiday weekend with delicious food and great company. Stay tuned for details.
July 25 – Exotic Birds
Get up close and personal with some incredible feathered friends during this educational and entertaining drop in visit.
August
August 1 – Hot Dogs & Cake
Another opportunity to gather with friends and enjoy a classic campground treat.
August 2 – Exotic Animals
A family favourite! Meet fascinating animals and learn about their habitats and behaviors.
August 8 – Kids Tattoos
Fun, colourful temporary tattoos for the kids and a great way to add some extra excitement to the weekend.
August 22 – Carnival Day
Games, prizes, activities, and fun for the entire family. Our campground carnival is always one of the highlights of the season.
September
September 19 – Halloween Weekend
Get your costumes ready! Enjoy campground trick-or-treating, decorations, and spooky fun as we celebrate Halloween together.
September 19 & 20 – Food Truck Weekend
Wrap up the season with great food, great friends, and one final weekend of campground eats.
Volunteers Always Welcome
All of our activities are made possible by the incredible volunteers who help organize and run events throughout the season. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you! Volunteers help create the welcoming community atmosphere that makes Heidi's Campground such a special place.
